Watch the above video ad a few times. At first, it might hit you as a clever, funny product of Madison Avenue. I think those who created the ad didn’t intend to send some subliminal message other than for you, the customer, to purchase a smart phone. But what, if our parents, teachers, community leaders, and our young children actually pick up on the idea and include it as a part of the informal and formal education of the young something as remarkably arcane as starting a small business (who knows, some young entrepreneurs would luck out and grow theirs into the big businesses of tomorrow) — something that some of our kids, not all of them, might pursue as a career option sooner or later… Scary prospect? Not at all!
